FM Poposki meets AJC Director of International Jewish Affairs Baker

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki held talks Friday with Rabbi Andrew Baker - Director of International Jewish Affairs for the American Jewish Committee (AJC), based in New York.

Poposki briefed the guest about interior, foreign policy priorities of the Government, as well as Macedonia's commitment to building good-neighborly relations, as well as lasting stability, security and prosperity of all countries in the region, with clear prospect for its full Euro-Atlantic integration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Poposki and Baker paid special attention to Macedonia's relations with the US and Israel. They also shared opinions on developments in the Middle-East in regard to the latest clashes in Gaza Strip, the press release reads.

Poposki reaffirmed the Government's interest in resuming the successful cooperation with the American Jewish Committee, saying that Macedonia and ACJ share common visions for global peace, security, democracy and prosperity."
