PM Gruevski: EUR30m-invested in reconstruction of schools across Macedonia

During the mandate of this Government a total of 400 schools across Macedonia will be reconstructed, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said Friday.

Thus far the reconstruction of 350 schools has been completed. Seven schools are under refurbishing, while tender procedures are running for another 35 schools, Gruevski said.

"Over EUR 50 million has been invested thus far in the schools' reconstruction project, which is a solid amount and part of our promises. At each election process we present a program, promising exactly which schools are to be overhauled and when it will happen, taking special attention to keep our promises," Gruevski said.

This afternoon, Gruevski will attend ceremonies for setting a reconstructed water supply system in Botun village into work and laying of cornerstone for construction of a collector system. Gruevski will also attend the opening of new traffic cycle in Ohrid.
