Stavreski: More capital investments in 2016 budget

The Government has adopted the 2016 draft-budget, which Vice Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski elaborated on Thursday, saying it has a development component as a result of the higher amount allocated for capital investments.

Total revenues are projected at MKD 176,8 billion (EUR 2,86 billion), higher by six percent compared to this year's budget, while expenditures stand at MKD 195,8 billion (EUR 3,17 billion), a 4.7-percent increase compared to 2015.

The budget deficit amounts to MKD 19 billion (EUR 307 million), standing at 3.2 percent of the GDP.

According to Stavreski, capital investments are projected at MKD 25,1 billion (EUR 406 million), which is a rise of 12.9 percent compared to 2015.

The GDP growth is projected at 4 percent, while inflation at 2 percent.
