PM Gruevski: Macedonia - 4th least indebted country in Europe
Macedonia, according to Eurostat, the EU's statistical office, is the fourth least indebted country in Europe, which is the best response to the accusations of (opposition) SDSM that the incumbent government plunged the state into enormous debts, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on Sunday.
Only Estonia, Luxembourg and Bulgaria have better indicators than Macedonia.
The fact that Macedonia is the 4th least indebted country in Europe doesn't correspond with SDSM attempts to discredit the Government's achievements, Gruevski said, adding that the European Commission has better data than the ones SDSM is presenting to the public in its pre-election campaign.
It is important that the Eurostat put Macedonia's debt level at 36.00 percent, which means that it has decreased for 2.2 percent in comparison with the last quarter of 2014, Gruevski said.
