Tehnoplast to invest EUR 10 million in Skopje zone
Tehnoplast is the first domestic company to sign an investment agreement in technological-industrial development zone Skopje 1-Bunardzik.
The company will invest EUR 10 million and open 200 jobs. The first stage includes the plant construction and equipment procurement, while the second will focus on technological development, both spanning over a period of ten years.
Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones (DTIDZ) CEO Viktor Mizo and Tehnoplast owner Borce Todorovski signed Tuesday the agreement, in attendance of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, and Vice Premiers Zoran Stavreski and Vladimir Pesevski.
"The company will manufacture tools and plastic components for the automotive, electrical and electronic industries. The entire production will be exported. We aim at realizing the existing projects we have already launched with companies such as BMW, Audi and Renault, supported by our suppliers. Our goal is to enhance cooperation with foreign investors in the industrial zones", said Todorovski.
The Tehnoplast plant is to be completed by March 2017.
