200 new jobs to be subsidized with grants up to €1,500
200 jobs will be created through a measure envisaging existing micro and small enterprises to be funded, for which MKD 18,400,000 (approximately EUR 300,000) have been set aside. New jobs in the enterprises will be financed with EUR 1,500 each.
Speaking at a news conference on Tuesday, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy Dime Spasov, said interested companies could apply at an open call starting today to open up to five jobs. The funds will be allocated in equipment and raw materials.
30% of the funds, he elaborated, are intended to subsidy the opening of jobs for people under 29, i.e. 80 jobs will be created for young people in this category.
“So far, this measure has proven to be very successful, in fact the most successful of all the measures. 569 jobs have been opened thus far with 90% success rate in terms of sustainability of these employments,” Spasov said.
The enterprises interested in applying should have at least one employee. When applying, they are urged to submit a business plan on future employments and expansion.
