PM Gruevski congratulates Christmas to Catholic believers

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski sent a note of congratulations Friday to Skopje Bishop and Apostolic Exarch Kiro Stojanov and to all Catholic believers in Macedonia on the occasion of Christmas - the Birth of Jesus Christ.

- Celebrating and commemorating this great act in the history of humankind have always represented most intimate and most joyous moment in the soul of every believer and follower of Christ. Because this act fulfils the hope of humankind and love, faith and kindness are proven to be basic principles of life. Since then until present time, the blessed is the one who follows the road of life based on values, without bad thoughts, life in which cooperation, community, kindness, tolerance and creating good deeds are our way. And Christmas is the holiday that reminds and directs us to cherish, improve and double our faith in all these values, Gruevski said in note of congratulations.

- In the spirit of these values united and harmonious, to continue with committed work towards reforms and modernisation of the state which will bring the citizens better life for development of economy, providing economic growth and increase of standard of the citizens, providing better conditions for development of education and culture, also help to socially vulnerable groups, fulfilment of strategic goals for our integration in NATO and EU and building strong and prosperous Republic of Macedonia, note of congratulations reads.
