The Ministry of Education and Science presented Thursday the ranking of all universities and higher education institutions in Macedonia.

University "Ss.Cyril and Methodius" tops the list, followed by Southeast Europe University in Tetovo, Stip-based University "Goce Delcev", University "St.Clement of Ohrid" in Bitola, with University for Information Science and Technology "St.Paul the Apostle" in Ohrid completing the top five.

"The list, developed by the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is the leading global institution for ranking of higher education institutions in line with the Berlin principles, refers to 2011", said Minister Pance Kralev at today's press conference.

The list includes 19 institutions, both state and private. The next ranking will be released in 2013.
