NATO Allied Command Transformation delegation, led by Deputy Commander, General Mieczyslaw Bieniek, paid Tuesday an official visit to the Macedonian Army (ARM) Staff.

Deputy-Chief of ARM Staff, Major-General Naser Sejdini presented ARM's transformation, long-term development plan, and experiences from participation in peacekeeping missions, the ARM Staff said in a press release.

Defense Minister Fatmir Besimi also received General Bieniek, who voiced satisfaction from ARM's progress in reforms and transformation, seen through the successful participation of troops in NATO-led missions, as well as contribution in the defense transformation process.

NATO's Allied Command Transformation is located in Norfolk, the United States. The command has the leading role in the military transformation of forces and capabilities, in order to improve the Alliance's military effectiveness.
