Minister Kralev wraps up visit to Sweden

Minister of Education and Science Pance Kralev met Wednesday in Stockholm with Ulf Melin, Director General of the Swedish International Programme Office for Education and Training, for talks on Sweden's experience in implementing international programmes for science and innovation, the Ministry of Education and Science has said.

Kralev also held talks with Peter Honeth, Sweden's state secretary for education and research, who presented programmes offered for cooperation with other countries. Kralev informed him on Macedonia's experience in relation to higher education.

"Talks focused on ways to enhance the countries' cooperation regarding higher education and research, especially on encouraging close cooperation to be established between scientific institutions from Macedonia and Sweden," the Ministry stated.

Minister Kralev had a working lunch with Lennart Stahle, Senior Adviser at the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education, and discussed possibilities for sharing experience with relevant institutions in Macedonia.

The minister wrapped up his visit to Stockholm after holding a meeting with Mille Milnert, Director General of the Swedish Research Council, and left for Finland.
