FM Poposki receives copies of credentials from new Malawian ambassador

Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Poposki received Friday copies of the credentials from the newly-appointed ambassador of the Republic of Malawi to Macedonia, headquartered in Berlin, Isaac Chikwekwere Lamba.

FM Poposki at the meeting voiced his hopes that the countries' good relations with a joint engagement and commitment to the development of mutual relations would be heightened in the interest of both Macedonia and Malawi.

Both interlocutors highlighted the need of finding adequate forms to intensify the bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest with an emphasis on economic cooperation and trade exchange between the countries.

They concluded that the drafting of agreements, especially in the economic sphere, was a basic precondition for creating a legal framework in developing economic and trade relations and attracting direct foreign investments in Macedonia.
