Skopje Urology Clinic gets €2 million equipment

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Health Minister Nikola Todorov promoted Saturday new equipment at the Skopje-based Urology Clinic.

The two million euro worth of equipment includes a green laser and instruments for diagnosing illnesses of the kidneys and prostate.

The Urology Clinic with the new equipment is one of the best equipped hospitals in Europe, according to Gruevski.

"The new, modern equipment meets the needs of the clinic entirely... It will allow many patients to be treated in Macedonia, instead of going to other clinics outside the country," the PM stated.

Moreover, Premier Gruevski praised the procurement of laboratories for educational institutions and for the business community, which "in the next 20 to 30 years will serve as the main pillar of the scientific and business community."
