Today the Minister of Transport and Communications, Blagoj Bochvarski at the Open Balkan Forum in Belgrade had a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Transport and Construction of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Momirović.
Communication and cooperation are at the highest level so far, relations are being expanded in order to achieve more efficient regional connectivity and accelerating the progress of both countries, underlined both ministers at today’s meeting.
The talks focused on shared infrastructural projects, especially in view of alleviating the procedures of railway connectivity and road cargo traffic that will additionally enable growth and economic development of both countries.
At their meeting Ministers Bochvarski and Momirović discussed additional alleviations of the procedures for payment of electronic tolls, with one shared end goal: using one system for payment between North Macedonia, Serbia, and Albania.
This initiative arising from the Open Balkan Forum is expected to bring positive benefits regarding the faster flow of passengers and reducing the waiting time, and at the same time, internally more integrated Balkan.
