Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupco Dimovski met late Friday with Indian billionaire Subrata Roy, who is paying a visit to Macedonia.

The Indian delegation showed interest for investments in the agriculture sector, with focus on the dairy, meat and meat processings industries, the Ministry said in a press release.

Minister Dimovski briefed the guests on the conditions for investments in the dairy industry, distribution centers, but also possibilities for investments in the field of meat and meat processings.

Indian representatives expressed readiness for future meetings and agriculture investments, whereas Roy said ties would not be long-term, but lifelong.

Subrata Roy met yesterday with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and the Government's economic team, announcing plans of large investments in Macedonia, in the field of production for export or tourism-related.
