Orhan Murtezani
Orhan Murtezani is a prominent economist and politician with considerable experience in the public and private sectors. He was born on October 15, 1984, in Skopje.
Murtezani completed higher education at the Faculty of Economics at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje, where he obtained a diploma in economics, and Marmara University in Istanbul, where he completed postgraduate studies.
His professional career began in 2015 when he became the director of the Centre for Democracy and Development, a position he held until 2017. Since 2016, however, Murtezani has been the spokesperson of the political party Alternative.
In 2019, Murtezani was appointed General Director and Chair of the Board of Directors of A.D. Railways of the Republic of North Macedonia - Transport, a position he holds until October 2020. In the period from 2020 to 2021, he is the co-founder and director of a private transport company.
From December 2021 to March 2023, Murtezani is the General Director and Chair of the Board of Directors of A.D. MEPSO.
Murtezani in addition to Albanian is fluent in Macedonian, Turkish and English.
