Today the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, had a meeting with the U.S. Ambassador, H.E. Angela Aggeler.

At the meeting, the two exchanged opinions and views on current political and economic affairs, as well as on the progress of the democratic processes in the country. 

President Mickoski underlined the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries while stressing that the support provided by the U.S.A. Is of key importance for the development and stability of the region.

Ambassador Aggeler reaffirmed the US commitment for continuation of the excellent cooperation with North Macedonia so far while reiterating the readiness to provide support in key reforms and projects foreseen for the forthcoming period.

The meeting ended with an agreement to further strengthen bilateral relations and intensify cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
