Goran Minchev is a prominent Macedonian politician and economist, born on March 22, 1972.

Minchev is a graduate economist at the Faculty of Economics at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Minchev started his career in 1992 as the head of the commercial sector in AD Pivara Skopje, where he worked until 2002. His expertise in commercial management enabled him to move into the public sector, where from 2002 to 2003 he worked as a deputy director in the Public Water and Sewerage Company in Skopje.

From 2003 to 2006, Minchev was director of the Service for General and Common Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, coordinating the work of various government sectors. In the period from 2006 to 2008 he was the Secretary General of SDSM.

In 2008, Minchev was elected MP at the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, where he remained until 2014. Since 2016, Minchev has been the director of a private company.
