Exhibition, bazaar "Diligent Hands Do Wonders"

In the framework of the series of projects for revitalization of the Old Skopje Bazaar, exhibition of handicraft products and bazaar titled "Diligent Hands Do Wonders" opened on Monday.

The bazaar includes folk costumes, products of natural materials, carpets, filigree, souvenirs made of wood, fur and leather, carved icons, pottery etc.

The event is part of project "Eco Ethno Macedonia - Taste of Tradition", aimed at nurturing traditional values.

Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska said at the exhibition opening that the intention is for handicrafts to become a symbol of long-term success, social engagement and modern future, adding that the Ministry promotes the development of creative industries.

"These unique products confirm that the Republic of Macedonia is a country of creatives, who want to turn their potential into the right direction, creating an important economic resource from their creative energy", said Kanceska-Milevska.
