Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on the start of Ramadan fast has sent a congratulation note to the Head of the Islamic Religious Community (IRC) in Macedonia, Reis Ul Ulema Hadzi Sulejman Efendi Rexhepi and to Muslim faithful in the country.

“The month of Ramadan for you is a month of tolerance, love and kindness, a time of unity, joy and harmony. Let the time of devoted focus on values provide you with additional wisdom, strength and concentration. Let the month of fasting be fulfilled with prayer and pure thoughts and actions,” reads the note.

“In the spirit of values that unite all believers, we should continue making efforts in the interest of the common goals and priorities for the benefit of all citizens and Macedonia’s development. Sending you most sincere greetings, I wish Ramadan to bring many gifts, mercy, prosperity and forgiveness in every home,” it adds.
