FM Poposki meets new Czech Ambassador

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Poposki, received Monday the newly appointed Czech Ambassador to Macedonia, Miroslav Rames, who presented the Minister the copies of the Letters of Credence for his appointment to Macedonia. 

Receiving the copies of his credentials, FM Poposki wished Ambassador Rames success in his diplomatic mission to Macedonia, presenting his expectation that Macedonia and the Czech Republic will continue strengthening their traditionally friendly relations while expanding and diversifying their bilateral cooperation at an even greater pace in the future, MoFA says in a press release.

Furthermore Minister Poposki and Ambassador Rames expressed their mutual satisfaction with the positive development of the political relations between the two countries. Poposki underlined that the Government of Macedonia greatly appreciates the support and assistance that the Government of the Czech Republic has been offering to the Republic of Macedonia in its Euro-Atlantic integration efforts.

Both interlocutors exchanged their views on the future development of the economic cooperation between Macedonia and the Czech Republic, discussing the future cooperation between the two countries in a number of other areas. Moreover,  FM Poposki and Ambassador Rames reflected on the cooperation between Macedonia and the Czech Republic  in a multilateral setting, placing a special emphasis in their discussion on the current state of affairs in the Region of Southeast Europe.
