The government decides to begin project for modernisation of 16 schools of which 6 secondary and 9 primary schoolс thus providing €3 million in cooperation with the Council of Europe Development Bank.

The funds are a grant aimed at all activities for reconstruction of 16 schools, which will be completed in 2013. The agreement for providing funds from Council of Europe Development Bank will be signed by end of month.

The project will provide improvement of conditions in schools for over 17.000 students. It includes schools from different regions, from municipalities with different political affiliation of mayor and schools where students are from different ethnic groups which prove the commitment of government for investments without any distinctions, Gjorgjiev said.
