PM Gruevski meets Serbia's President Nikolic

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic affirmed late Friday their commitment to further advancing of the good neighborly relations and overall cooperation.

PM Gruevski and President Nikolic expressed satisfaction with the good Macedonian-Serbian relations, as well as readiness for their further development.

The two countries will also keep working on bolstering the economic cooperation.

Mr. Gruevski presented Macedonia's reform experience, hailed by the latest European Commission's report, which includes positive qualifications of the country's overall progress and a recommendation for setting a date for launching the EU accession negotiations.

PM Gruevski and President Nikolic also addressed the reform processes in both countries. In this respect they paid special attention to mechanisms, possibilities for dealing with the consequences of Europe's debt crisis and providing conditions for economic growth and better living standard of the citizens.
