The right to social assistance beneficiaries will be able to realize only with an ID. Minister of Labour and Social Policy Spiro Ristovski informed that it will be implemented immediately and that new applicants and those who will perform reconstruction of the right for receiving social assistance can do this with an ID.

- So far the applicants for social financial assistance, as well as the existing users, during the procedure for the realization of this right, as well as during the annual renewal of the documents in the CSW for themselves and for the members of their households were required to submit a certificate of pension earned in the country or abroad, the list of registered data on the service, information about the status of unemployed persons, as well as data for user unemployment compensation on the basis, said on a press conference Minister Ristovski.

He added that now that documentation will be provided electronically between institutions on the basis of the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Employment Agency, Pension and Disability Insurance Fund and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

According to the minister this will contribute towards reducing the cost of achieving social welfare, because applicants and users will not have to go from one institution to another to provide the necessary documentation, and will also mean reducing the possibility for abusing the system.

For a complete implementation of the One-stop system, as the minister said, the procedure for the electronic exchange of data is also ongoing with the Public Revenue.

- The purpose of this Government and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy is the assistance that we provide to reach the right hands at the right threatened families who are in a social risk, said at a press conference the Minister of Labour and Social Policy.

According to the records at the end of last year 39,000 social assistance recipients were recorded.
