It is another healthcare capital project realized in Macedonia. This promotion was attended by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Health Minister Nikola Todorov.

- It is about the purchase of 69 fully equipped ambulance vehicles and a special pediatric vehicle in the amount of 275 million denars, about 4.5 million euro. We consider each city to receive one car. It is planed Skopje to have minumum 10 vehicles. This is one of the promises that we made to the citizens. We promised to purchase 50 ambulance vehicles for the emergency care needs, and we purchased 70 Minister Todorov said.

In parallel with this project, he said, the doctors training project in EMC is realized, which last for two weeks, this will be the third week and will continue in the future  for educating  the doctors who work in  EMC in accordance with the most modern protocols.

The Minister pointed out that the process of procurement tablet computers is ongoing and those computers will be placed in all ambulance vehicles.

- The next thing we do for the EMC is the employment of 80 doctors in all EMC centers which means a serious incensement of the entire staff for over 25 percent. This is, I would say, historically the largest increase in the number of doctors in EMC over the last 20 years. I expect these measures and activities that we implement to contribute towards better functioning, faster response, quicker arrival and modern medical treatment, Minister Todorov said.
