Macedonia will keep cooperating with the United States no matter who will score the victory at today's elections, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on Tuesday.

"The US is our strategic partner. In every occasion we have been trying to deepen this partnership on both political and economic level and our relations in this respect are excellent. Regardless of the person in power, the policies in generally remain the same. Naturally, each individual has own characteristics, but global policies remain within the frames of a strategic partnership and whoever wins we shall continue to cooperate with the one that is going to be elected by the US citizens," Gruevski said.
