Defense Minister Fatmir Besimi and OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek dicussed Thursday in Skopje on the OSCE priorities in the region and realized activities in Macedonia.

Besimi briefed the high guest about the continuous defense reforms in line with NATO standards. Referring to the progress of the process for equitable representation of the ethnic communities, Besimi said that Macedonia's Army (ARM) served as an example for inclusive approach of a developed multi-ethnic society, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

An integration, as an affirmative aspect in multi-ethnic societies, is the the right way to building mutual trust, sustainable stability and development, Vollebaek said.
