Macedonia investment benefits presented in Detroit

A Government team led by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski presented Tuesday Macedonia's investment benefits before 60 companies from the automotive industry in Detroit.

"The presentation went well. Detroit is a city of the automotive industry, meaning the event was attended by companies producing vehicles or automotive parts. We highlighted Macedonia's investment advantages in the best possible way", said Gruevski after the presentation.

Founder of "Macedonia 2025" project, Mike Zafirovski also presented his views on Macedonia's business environment, as well as representatives of companies already present in Macedonia - Kemet Electronics, Johnson Controls and Johnson Matthey.

"When they confirm the Government's policies, this increases the confidence among investors", added PM Gruevski.

According to Zafirovski, each presentation offers increased sophistication of proposals, while favorable references from companies make Macedonia more attractive for investments.

"The situation in Europe's economy is not positive, which gives Macedonia the opportunity to attract investors, since it is very important to be at a location that not only offers low costs, but also satisfies the companies' business needs", added Zafirovski.

The Government team will hold similar presentations in Houston, Los Angeles and Seattle over the coming days.
