FM Poposki organizes New Year reception for diplomatic corps to Macedonia

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki organized Tuesday a New Year's reception for the diplomatic corps to Macedonia.

Addressing the guests, Poposki underlined the challenges of Macedonia's diplomacy in the outgoing year and its priorities in the next one, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

In this respect he referred to the Euro-Atlantic integration processes as the priorities of Macedonia's foreign policy and the country's successful efforts that established it as a leader of developing the good-neighborly relations  in the Southeastern Europe.

Poposki said most of the foreign policy activities in 2013 would be related to Macedonia's accession to NATO, opening the EU entry talks, continuous advancing of the good-neighborly relations, resuming of the UN-mediated negotiations on the differences over the country's constitutional name, care for Macedonians living abroad, as well as support and upgrading of the policies for protection of the human rights, the press release reads.
