Minister of Information Society and Administration Ivo Ivanovski Wednesday opened new e-shop "Eco-Solar" for sale of solar collectors and spare equipment.

The website www.ecosolar.mk which operates for several days offers solar collectors, other offers from “Eco-Solar” or creation of solar system by buyers and its ordering.

Besides e-shops in the sphere of textile industry, tourism and souvenirs we have promoted today also shop in the sphere of metal products which is another proof that e-trade has no limits, Minister Ivanovski said.

He also added that the Ministry of Information Society and Administration extended the deadline for the second open competition for e-shops by Jan. 31. All interested persons should submit business plan via ministry's website.

The owner of "Eco-Solar" Mr. Zoran Trajkov said that opening of e-shop means continuous 24 hours sale throughout Macedonia and abroad, reduction of sale expenses and by this products cost reduction to final consumers.

President of the Solar Association of Macedonia Ilija Nasov said that Macedonia is one of the best regions of number of sunny days still the sun’s energy is used a little. He also underlined that besides subsidies provided by the government and VAT reduction, also opening of e-shop will significantly contribute to increase of usage of solar energy.

Shop's opening is within project for development of e-trade in Macedonia.
