Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare will continue this year to ruthlessly fight against illegal employment and other irregularities in the sphere of labour relations and safety at work.

The most common abuse of the rights of the workers, as Labour Minister Spiro Ristovski said at Saturday's press conference, are happening during the holidays when daily wages are by 150% higher than regular daily wage.

But in reality we are witnessing different situation. Non-payment of holiday pay means immense abuse of human labour, which is unrealistically paid and exploited, Mr. Ristovski said.

He said that the ministry will continue to work in direction to reduction of gray economy and improvement of the workers' rights.

- Only full implementation of laws and successful inspection supervision are guarantee for good economic environment, good conditions on labour market and safety at work, Mr. Ristovski said.
