Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Skopje municipality Center Mayor Vladimir Todorovic formally opened Wednesday a multi-storey car park, located in the vicinity of the complex of court buildings.

The multi-storey car park covers an area of 16.625 square meters, offering parking lots to 500 cars. The EUR5.635 million-project also houses business-administrative premises.

The problem with parking areas near the Macedonian Television and court buildings in downtown Skopje has been solved with this project, Gruevski said at the opening ceremony.

"In addition to parking areas, the car park also includes business premises, enabling a self-financing, sustainability of the car park. In one word this car park will bring benefit to both institutions and citizens," Gruevski said.

This car park is part of a large-scale project for building of seven parking lots in downtown Skopje.
