The Finance Ministry has paid Denar 341 million (EUR 5,5 million) in subsidies to 13,041 farmer - vine growers, tobacco growers and gardeners.

Denar 104 million (EUR 1,7 million) have been paid to 4,679 vine growers, i.e. Denar 40,000 (EUR 650) per hectare¸ the Finance Ministry said in a press release.

Denar 165 million (EUR 2,7 million) have been allocated to 3,263 tobacco growers, i.e. Denar 60 (EUR 1) per produced and sold kilogram of tobacco.

Moreover, Denar 70 million (EUR 1,1 million) have been paid to 5,099 farmers for produced gardening plants, i.e. Denar 6,000-30,000 (EUR 100-500) per hectare, depending on the plant.

"By regular payment of subsidies for support of the agriculture, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Finance Ministry remain consistent in supporting one of the crucial pillars of the Macedonian economy.
