The groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a printing house has marked the official start of the first industrial zone Prilep 1. The Municipality of Prilep has already sold all 21 parcels of a total of 50.000 sq.m. of this zone at e-auction.

Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, who laid the cornerstone, said that opening of new jobs and construction of plants by domestic investors were the Government's priorities.

"The Government has met businessmen demands – the lowest possible price of the land and removing of administrative barriers for development of the business," Stavreski said.

Domestic investors are the blood stream of the economy as they create new jobs. The Government respects all of those who invest in these difficult times, he added.
