Minister of Culture Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska and Prilep Mayor Marjan Risteski promoted Thursday the reconstructed Clock Tower, which is an important 19th-century cultural landmark of the city.

"The project demonstrates the pledge of the Ministry of Culture and local self-government to protect cultural heritage," Kanceska-Milevska said adding that efforts were being made to protect the invaluable cultural heritage in one of Macedonia's largest cities.

Kanceska-Milevska and Risteski visited the city's movie theater within the Center of Culture, which is due to be completely overhauled. As a sign of support, the Minister donated a new digital projector.

"The Government, most notably the Ministry of Culture, aims together with local authorities to enrich the cultural offer across the country and to develop the cinematic culture," she noted.
