Farmers have more than EUR 6,5 million at disposal through the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBDP), offered at favorable rates for numerous purposes - production, purchase, processing and export, said Government Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Wednesday's press conference.

The interest rate stands at three percent, whereas application is carried out at the MBDP.

Farmers can also use funds through the Agricultural Credit Discount Fund for projects with a maximum amount of EUR 100,000.

Moreover, Gjorgjiev referred to the European Investment Bank (EIB) EUR 100 million credit line, available at a 5.5 percent subsidized interest rate.
