Minister Saraqini meets with Chinese business delegation

Minister of Economy Valon Saraqini met Tuesday with a delegation of the China Construction First Building (Group) Corporation, led by its General Manager Shi Qing, which is paying a visit to Macedonia in order to examine the country's business and investment conditions.

At the meeting, Minister Saraqini presented Macedonia's potential and characteristics related to its business climate, the positive tax policy and the favourable conditions and opportunities offered by the country to foreign investors, the Economy Ministry said in a press release. He also referred to the Regulatory Guillotine, improvement of the infrastructure and modernization of the education system with a special emphasis on the possibilities for cooperation on projects in the field of infrastructure by granting concession for construction of roads, railroads, construction of HPPs and other energy objects.

The Chinese delegation expressed interest in investing on projects in relation to road, railroad and energy infrastructure.

The Chinese company realizes a revenue of USD 90 billion annually, hires about 200 000 employees and implements projects with 60 countries worldwide.
