Minister of Information Society and Administration Ivo Ivanovski was decorated with a silver medal award for recognition of continuous contribution to International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

He was presented with the medal at the World Summit on the Information Society 2013 held 14-16 May in Geneva.

The summit, which gathered most influential organisations, companies and ministers in the sphere of ICT, was chaired by Ivanovski. All six draft opinions which aim to contribute to larger development of information societies in the future were approved at the summit.

During the participation at the conference, Ivanovski held bilateral meetings with renowned officials in international IT sector.
