Business community presents package of measures to government

Business community has presented Monday a total of 77 measures for economic growth to the government.

Ministry of Finance, National Bank and Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion to find common model which will move or increase the credit growth of 8% to 10%, introduction of measures to control companies of unpaid debts, revocation of category unrecognized expenditures and implementation of new strategy with priority to domestic investors, are some of the presented proposals by Union of Chambers of Commerce at the

business breakfast with government economic team.

The VAT rate of 18% for heating energy and livestock food to be reduced to 5%; coordination between central and local authority to be improved aimed at faster resolution of property and legal relations, change of time of summer and winter vacation aimed at continuation of summer and winter tourist seasons, the companies requested.

PM Nikola Gruevski and ministers of economy, finance and agriculture attended the business breakfast which is traditionally organized by the Union of Chambers of Commerce.
