Parliament approves government reshuffle

The Parliament of Macedonia on Wednesday accepted the government's proposal on appointing new ministers of education and labour and social policy and a new minister without portfolio.

The Ministry of Education and Science now will be managed by Spiro Ristovski, who has served as a minister of labour. His post will be filled by Dime Spasov, who was at the helm of the Real Estate Cadastre Agency.

Jerry Naumoff is named new minister without portfolio for attracting foreign investments.

Elaborating the government's proposal, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said the candidates were adequately educated with abundant experience and voiced his hopes that they would successfully execute their ministerial duties.
