State to employ another 50 individuals with orphan status

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy will announce Friday a call for employment of another 50 individuals, who had a status of orphans up to the age of 18, in the state administration.

The call is part of D-10 Programme, which has already employed 33 persons with such status.

Minister Dime Spasov said at Thursday's press conference the employment of this category of citizens would resume in coming years.

"A total of 83 people are to be employed within the D-10 Programme in 2013. These individuals will be assisted in securing conditions for normal life, permanent job and their integration in society", said Spasov.

According to him, the number of unemployed individuals having the status of orphans up to the age of 18 changes by the year.

"We expect steep reduction in the number of unemployed from this category in the coming 4-5 years, i.e. providing jobs for 120-170 persons", added Minister Spasov.
