Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ljupco Dimovski and Russian Agriculture Minister Nikolay Vasilyevich Fyodorov met Thursday in Moscow, focusing on enhancement of cooperation through exports of fruit and vegetables at the Russian market.

"Emphasis was put on issues related to overcoming administrative procedures for continual distribution of Macedonian lamb meat and dairy products at the Russian market", the Ministry said in a press release.

The Russian officials voiced readiness for strengthening of cooperation through direct contacts between countries' businessmen, as well as review of the initiative for facilitated trade exchange of agriculture products - Macedonian fruit and vegetables at the Russian market, while Russian fish, fish products, cereals and sunflower oil in Macedonia.

"In the framework of putting the bilateral agriculture memorandum into practice, working groups will hold continual dialogue, thus creating conditions for the official visit of Minister Fyodorov to Macedonia in the course of 2014", reads the press release.
