Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski says the meeting between UN envoy Matthew Nimetz and German Chancellor Angela Merkel is positive, adding it is good that Germany is informed in details over the name issue developments.

"It is quite clear why Nimetz was invited to meet with Chancellor Merkel. We know what his main task at the UN is, and this topic was certainly the main point of discussion. It is clear that Germany wants exact and specific information. The country is one of Europe's biggest players on the political stage", PM Gruevski told journalists after Thursday's PET Center cornerstone-laying ceremony in Skopje.
