Water reservoir in Siricino put into use

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski put into use Saturday water reservoir with the capacity of 300 cubic meters in the village of Siricino, Jegunovce municipality.

The reservoir is intended for 11 populated regions with over 7.000 inhabitants. We have invested Denar 9.300.000 and biggest part of the investment belongs to the Government and Jegunovce municipality has its share as well. The reservoir will help surpassing the problems as unclean water from the wells and low inflow from the water supply system, Gruevski said.

He also referred to resolving the water supply problem with the construction of network in the village of Tudence, Raotince and Zilce, reconstruction of primary schools in Jegunovce, Vratnica and Semsevo and regional schools in Siricino, Ratae, Raotince, Rogacevo, Jansicte, Orasje and Staro Selo while the construction of the multifunctional playground in Ratae enters its final phase.

Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Abdilaqim Ademi also attended the event emphasised the good cooperation with the municipality in realisation of this project.

One of Government’s priorities is supplying all populated areas in the country with safe drinking water. Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and the Government invested Denar 8.2 million in this project while municipality participated with Denar 1.1 million which is a real example of common project in the interest of the citizens, Ademi said.

Reservoir in Siricino will provide drinking water to Zelce, Semsevo and Ratae villages.
