Government delegation meets Cleveland investment companies

A Government delegation led by Vice Premier for Economic Affairs Vladimir Pesevski paid Friday a visit to several global companies in the Cleveland area, which have already shown interest to invest in Macedonia.

The delegation was briefed on the companies' future plans and activities in Europe, and presented Macedonia's investment benefits, the Government said in a press release.

Vice Premier Pesevski, accompanied by Minister for Foreign Investments Bill Pavleski, Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones CEO Viktor Mizo, Chicago General Consul Jakup Rexhepi and economic promoter Dejan Velickov, presented the country's investment potential and benefits offered in technological industrial development zones at a business forum held in Cleveland on Thursday.

The Government's efforts for enhancement of business relations between Macedonia and the United States received support from Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, who delivered the forum's opening remarks.

The event was attended by representatives of the local business community, companies and institutions of the broader area.

The Macedonian delegation resumes its U.S. visit with a business forum in Indianapolis.
