PM Gruevski: Skopje to get new private hospital soon

The Ministry of Transport and Communications intends to open public invitation next week to select the best bidder for construction of a private health care facility near the Skopje City Hospital '8 September', Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on Saturday.

"As informed by the Minister of Transport and Communications, there is at least one and maybe more bidders to express interest to buy the land, invest own capital and build a new, modern private hospital," Gruevski said.

The location has been offered on several occasions, but attracted no bidders thus far, Gruevski said.

"This time we have at least one buyer, who wish to build a hospital. I hope for the public auction to be successful. It means Skopje will get a new hospital that is going to offer fresh standards, possibilities for the citizens," Gruevski said.
