Race for three apartments, three stores and nine cars begins

Deputy PM and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski together with officials of the Macedonian State Lottery on Sunday officially launched a prize game for collecting fiscal receipts, which will last till the end of 2014.

At least 20 fiscal receipts should be collected and send in an envelope to the State Lottery of Macedonia. There are no limitations to the sum of the receipts or the number of envelopes that could be sent.

The first of the nine draws will take place on 30 December 2013, which is planned to be broadcast live by the Macedonian Television.

"Three apartments, three stores and nine cars in addition to vouchers worth from 3.000 to 60.000 denars will be awarded during the year-long prize game," Minister Stavreski told a press conference.

He stressed that the prize game was a resumption of a similar lottery organized in 2001-2002. "It aims at motivating the citizens and raising their awareness to ask for receipts, raise the level of fiscalization and tax paying."

"By participating in the lottery, the citizens will support the national economy and the fiscalization process," Stavreski said.

The game is organized by the State Lottery of Macedonia under the auspices of the Finance Ministry.
