PM Gruevski, Labour Minister Spasov visit 11 October Orphanage

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Labour Minister Dime Spasov visited Sunday "11 October" Orphanage on the occasion of New Year holidays and handed out presents to orphans.

Children performed in play which was prepared by them as an expression of their gratitude for given care from the state.

PM Gruevski congratulated the children the forthcoming holidays wishing them health, happiness and success in the future.

Spasov said that the care for children without parents and parental care will remain top priority for the Government and Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.

In the past period we have conducted numerous projects directed to increase support of these children, as Programme D 10 through which 83 persons were employed in state institutions and financial support for children that continue their education has increased to Denar 24.000 per month, Spasov said.

As government we will continue to realise similar projects aimed at increasing the support for these children, Spasov said.
