Special stamps for prize game 'Fiscal receipts in hand - rewards without hassle'

The second drawing of the prize game 'Fiscal receipts in hand - rewards without hassle' will be held on January 27.

A stamp which costs only MKD 8 was launched Monday at the Macedonian Posts, enabling citizens to send their envelopes with 20 fiscal bills much cheaper and easier.

The logo of the game is printed on the stamp, which must be affixed to the envelope and mailed to the State Lottery of Macedonia.

"Citizens may send their envelopes until January 26 as the drawing is on January 27. All fiscal bills sent since the beginning of the prize game, or from November 15, are in the game," Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski said at the promotion of the stamp.

He urged citizens to start sending their envelopes by post, as the new stamp will halve their costs.

Boxes for sending the envelopes will be also placed in front of the Macedonian Posts' building, Stavreski said. Negotiations are underway for placing such boxes at larger malls in Skopje, and other cities across Macedonia, he added.

Macedonia's Government has launched the lottery last November to cut tax evasion, unfair competition in the economy and to increase public awareness of the importance of receipts. The first of nine draws took place on 30 December 2013.

By sending in envelopes containing 20 collected receipts, citizens can win a house, flat, commercial premises, cars, computers and other prizes.
