Viticulture subsidies are fully paid, and the payment of subsidies for other agricultural branches goes according to the plan, Vice Premier and Fin Min, Zoran Stavreski said speaking on the occasion of St. Tryphon in Negotino.
-    Subsidies to wine growers have been paid. 386 million denars to 12,615 wine growers were paid. We started to pay tobacco subsidies and over 27 thousand tobacco manufacturers have already received their money for subsidized production. Those producers who are to sell their tobacco will also receive their subsidies. What is significant is that about 1 billion and 200 million denars have already been disbursed to subsidize tobacco production, Deputy Prime Minister said.
He also added that the budget is in good shape, with good liquidity and that the payment of subsidies goes according to plan. He announced that subsidies for sheep are planned to be paid next week.
-We are satisfied, he said, from the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture, that they made the necessary checks promptly so that the farmers could receive their subsidies on time.
He also emphasized that the Government continues with its dedication to support agriculture.
