Wizz Air launches Skopje-Paris flight

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air launched a direct Skopje-Paris flight on Thursday. Passengers will be able to travel to Paris twice a week from the Skopje Airport 'Alexander the Great' for a one-way ticket fare of EUR 30-70.

"Today, in cooperation with Wizz Air, we are promoting the new routes to Paris and Cologne. Two days ago the direct flights from Skopje to Brussels and Frankfurt have been also introduced," Transport and Communication Minister Mile Janakieski said at the flight promotion, also attended by TAV Macedonia Director General Zoran Krstevski and French Ambassador in Skopje Laurence Auer.

"TAV Macedonia keeps meeting the expectations of its customers. By launching Paris, along with Brussels, Cologne and Frankfurt, the Wizz Air is now offering flights form Skopje Airport to 15 destinations," Krstevski said.

Auer, one of the passengers of Skopje-Paris first flight, said the new route offered an excellent opportunity for advancing the relations and cooperation between Macedonia and France.
